For over 30 years, empower: abilities has been a trusted resource for individuals with disabilities throughout Southwest Missouri. As the first Consumer Directed Services (CDS) provider in Southwest Missouri, we're proud to help individuals maintain independence, choice, and control over their care.
Caring for Someone You Love? We Can Help!
Our Consumer Directed Services (CDS) program allows eligible individuals with disabilities to choose and direct their care, including hiring qualifying family members or friends who receive WEEKLY PAY!
CDS assistance may include:
- Bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Mobility and transfers
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation
- Shopping, errands, and transportation
