Today, we celebrated an incredible milestone—Shelby Butler's 25th anniversary with empower: abilities!

Over the past 25 years, Shelby has worked alongside many wonderful people, helped our organization grow through countless seasons and made a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. Her dedication to our mission is remarkable, but so is the kindness, humor and genuine care she brings to our team each day.

Naturally, such a special milestone called for balloons, treats, lunch and plenty of Frida Kahlo-inspired fun—including some truly impressive eyebrows!

Shelby shared how grateful she is to work with a team that supports one another, steps in when help is needed and makes both the hard days easier and the good days even better. We feel just as fortunate to have spent these 25 years with her.
