Empower: abilities Receives $75,000 Keys to Housing Grant through Musgrave Foundation

Juli Jordan and Shannon Porter of empower: abilities discuss their organization's work to support folks with disabilities in Springfield. In June, the organization received $75,000 to help individuals with disabilities maintain stable housing and foster long-term independence by providing financial support for rental assistance, move-in expenses, home modifications and essential housing-related costs. This is just one grant distributed in the Musgrave Foundation's "Keys to Housing" program, which supports long-term solutions to the lack of affordable housing options in the Springfield area.
